Windows ME (Millenium)
1. On your desktop, double click the My Computer Icon. Then Double Click the Control Panel icon. (see illustration below)



2. Double-Click the Dial-Up Networking icon. (see illustration below)



3. Double-Click the Make New Connection icon. (see illustration below)



4. Click the Next button. (see illustration below)



5. Type in a name for the connection. We suggest Dependanet. (see illustration below)
6. The modem is already selected by default. (see illustration below)
7. Click the Next button.


8. Type in the Local Access number. If you have to dial the area code, we suggest leaving the Area Code box empty and type the area code in with the phone number using no spaces or dashes.
9. Click the Next button



10. You have now created your new Dial-Up Networking connection.
11. Click the Finish button



12. To create a shorcut on your desktop, right click on the Dependanet icon and click Create Shortcut. Now, in the Dial-Up Networking window, double click on the Dependanet icon to connect to the internet

13. Enter your username. Be sure to add “@dependanet.com” after your username. (Example: username@dependanet.com)

14. Then type in your password



15. Click the Connect button to log on, then open Internet Explorer (blue E on your desktop) or from the programs menu.
